Hello everyone! I am glad that you went to my profile. Since I'm an aspiring writer, any support would be welcome. If you have an interest in my lane, then please come here https://updatedessay.com/ - Terry456
Thanks for the recommendation! I love manga and this is my favorite hobby. But now I'm busy preparing a thesis, this task is a priority for me. I want to prepare as efficiently as possible, so I turned to the accounting assignments for help. I hope that this will help me prepare properly and get a good grade. - Joe Gorney
All are in excellent gently-used condition with only very minor shelfwear.
In Western comics, my tastes run towards the Vertigo/Dark Horse/indy titles -- no DC/Marvel supers, please; in manga, my tastes are pretty broad; I'll also consider some collections of newspaper comic strips or magazine cartoonists, or non-fiction related to comics, manga, and cartooning. Alternately, I'd also be willing to consider straight Mooches, particularly if anyone wants to multi-mooch several/all of these at once. ^_^
Putting #8 up on here brand new, unless someone claims it here first. Found a bunch of places near me selling manga for $1. They also have some Hyper Police, Love Hina, FAKE and a few others- if anyone has a request, let me know and I can go look to see if they have it.
If anyone has any Kare Kano they're looking for homes for, please let me know. That or Tokyo Mew Mew A La Mode #2. I'd pay 2x points.
Would anyone be interested in swapping graphic novels 1:1? I have several DC, Marvel and Indie collections, and would like to exchange them for new funnybooks. If interested, I'll be happy to work through normal BM channels.

Ms. S:
Sounds swell. Any mailing would need to wait until after the National Lazy Postie Day anyway.
I added "Bibliophibian" to my bio page the day that strip came out. The only reason to believe one has too many books is when it comes time to move. - Elsewhere
Sounds like a good deal to me! Mind hanging on to that one a little longer, until I get a chance to dig through the longboxes and see if there's anything else you might be interested in?
(And bwah, I've got the Wondermark "bibliophibian" strip on my profile page here.) - Miss Smilla
Ms S., of the frozen stuff:
I have unearthed the Amphigorey paperback (first Perigee printing 1981). It has a mild cover corner crease and a few stray pen-marks on the cover from where the previous owner fiendishly used it as a writing board. It is also inscribed inside "I broke your lamp with my dejected spirit- Laura", which I may adapt to be my final epitaph (see http://wondermark.com/624/ for the joke). Interested? - Elsewhere
Oooh, yes, some classic Gorey would be absolute love -- I don't think I have any of his stuff on my shelves right now. (Bad goth, no biscuit clove!) If you can't turn them up, I forgot to mention earlier that I'd also go for some of the America's Best Comics stuff -- Tom Strong, Promethea, Top 10, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen -- mostly looking to switch over to trades again, but I'd also go for single issues I'm missing from my runs Tom Strong and Promethea.
My Tick collection is Ben Edlund : The Tick Omnibus Vol. 1, the first big trade from New England Comics -- it's a little shelfworn around the edges and corners, but the binding is still good and tight. - Miss Smilla
Hello hello again! Hopefully this'll get more attention here rather than lost in the shuffle of the general board. ^_^
As I mentioned earlier, I can probably find some single-issue/one-shot titles by Ennis, Ellis, and Moore in my collection, along with that Tick trade. I've also got a bunch of Poison Elves trades that I've been thinking of swapping -- I haven't really felt the urge to reread them in a while, and Drew Hayes' untimely demise means the story's hanging unfinished. There are also some B&W indy collections I'd consider swapping -- Vigil One, Box Office Poison, Minimum Wage, stuff like that.
Other single issues I might consider swapping -- I've got a lot of the earlier issues of Courtney Crumrin, Gloom Cookie, Jhonen Vasquez and Roman Dirge books (what, me worry goth?), Milk and Cheese, B.P.R.D., Sin City...lots of mid-to-late 90s indies, basically; I'd really like to shift more of my collection over to trades wherever possible, and rehoming the single issues would help me feel more justified in buying the same books all over again.
For Western comics, I'm mostly a Vertigo/Dark Horse/indy girl -- never really managed to click with the DC/Marvel supes for the most part, although I *would* cheerfully Mooch the reprints of the original Marston Wonder Woman stories for the sheer cracktastic lulz. Mostly I'd be interested in trades -- Hellboy, B.P.R.D., Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, Lenore, Gloomcookie, Transmetropolitan, Fables, The Red Star, Martha Washington..., more recent volumes of Strangers In Paradise; I'd also be open to collections of newspaper comics like Peanuts, Calvin and Hobbes, Pogo, or Mutts, and some magazine cartoonists like Charles Addams, Glen Baxter, Bill Mauldin, or Ronald Searle -- serious non-fiction studies of cartoons, comics, and manga would also be quite welcome! And if anyone thinks you have something not on this list that I might like, I'm very open to recs. - Miss Smilla
I have a few boxes of Korean language manga/manhwa that I am looking to re-home. I can't really find info to list them because they do not have recognizable ISBNs, and I do not know the actual names on most of them because I cannot read Korean. I can discern genre for most of them, and can attempt to compile a list of the ones that I can find information on, but that is really the best I can think of. Is anyone on here interested in these? I would like to get 1 point each, but if someone wants more than one of them, I would make a deal.
Really into the romance, comedy, supernatural and fantasy. Along the lines of manhwa titles like:
One Thousand and One Night by Jeon Jin-seok
Full House (풀하우스) by Woon Soo-yoon
100% Perfect Girl by Wann
Witch Hunter(위치헌터) by CHO Jung-man - Victoria
I am interested. Read English released translation and scanlations over the year. Looking to brush up on my Korean language skills. How many books do you have? - Victoria
Hey lads and ladies, I've shot a couple of you who put up lists in the past an e-mail but am essentially just looking for any graphics that take my fancy (I tend to go for non-superhero orientated stuff from vertigo/dark horse/image/oni press etc.. or random indie publications). Only really have a few that I can swop up which I'll list below but have a fair few points if that's any good to people! - So please let me know if there's anything you want shifting or if you are interested in any of the following:
Non-Manga: Hey, Mister - Afterschool Special - Top Shelf Bizarro By Dan Piraro Kissing Chaos V.1 - Oni press
The following I'd prefer to keep but would trade if something that I'm more interested in came along (!): Hellblazer - All his engines Hellblazer - Good intentions Hellblazer - Highwater Hellblazer - Dangerous Habits
Manga: School Rumble V.1 (In Japanese) Bleach - Souls - Character reference guide (In Japanese)
None of those are to my fancy, but thank you for posting! I usually put any discounted ones I come across (under $1) on here from time to time and post here first. :) - Whitney
Found some chobits at a local $1/manga sale near me. Volumes 5 and 2. If anyone is very interested, I think they have extra copies as well- ping me here/respond here.
(there was also, if I recall correctly, slayers 5 & a few others like legal drug)
I'm searching for ALL trade paperbacks of the Warren Ellis series. I will also consider runs. Please check my earlier post, showing the trades I have for swap.
I am also willing to BUY these books, as I'm very tempted to order them from Amazon.
I recently purchased quite a few Buffy Season 8 comics. 1 + 2-5 I think, maybe even numero 6. I also have a few manga, some Naruto, but they seem pretty indie. If you have any graphic novels that you'd like to trade, or would like to know what else I have, please email me.
I am quite interested in completing my runs of Sand Chronicles (Have 1), Honey and Clover (Have 1 & 8), and Honey Hunt (Have 1 & 2).
Would LOVE a trade for any Kare Kano (his and her circumstances) or Transmetropolitan, but overall, just looking for home for these. I'll post them tomorrow, otherwise it's first dibs here.
Note: All manga are in pretty perfect condition excepting Pantheon, the front corner is bent, I got it like that.
STONe 1&2 (Full series) Doll 1 & 2 Pantheon High 1

MYTHOS - Elsewhere
I have a bunch of old single-issue copies of Terry Moore's Strangers in Paradise comics that I'm looking to get rid of. Is there a site like BookMooch for comic books? Or, alternately, does anyone here want them?
I still haven't finished sorting out my longboxes, alas, but my manga collection is now properly organized and inventoried, and ready for me to start rehoming titles that aren't keepers. I've already given away a few one-shots, but it's always nice to not have to split up a longer series into multiple mailings, so...would anyone be interested in all 12 volumes of Gravitation? These were hand-me-downs from a friend and have also been loaned out to another friend locally, so they are in somewhat more visibly used condition than most of my manga, with some visible shelfwear and some mild cover creasing/dogearing, but they are still in decent shape cosmetically and are in perfectly good readable condition. I'm not hoping/expecting to make 1:1 comic trades for these (although I'm always open to offers! ^_^), but I would prefer to give these to someone who has enough points to Mooch the entire series at once.
