carolyn (USA: PA) (2006/09/30): I found this book full of truths and new ways of thinking about God but got tired of the format of the dialogue after a while. Also after awhile it felt a little repetitive.
Cary Mangum (USA: CA) (2009/04/18): This is a life changing book. It can fill that area of personal inner seeking that many experience, but may not be able to put a 'name' to it. When my father died at age 49 (bad heart valve), the idea that death wiped out everything he'd been, done and learned literally anguished a 23 year old who grew up in a protestant faith. I remember crying out it can't be that's it, there HAS TO BE MORE!Over the years, life brought illustration after illustration that we are more than a one-time-event. We are so much more is so well described in Conversations with God Books 1, 2 and 3 - and God is so much more than the version of traditional religions. My first reading of CWG1 ended up with many Green Highlite stickies marking areas of significance. Many months later another copy was read cover-to-cover (with no recall of the first). It was marked with many BLUE Highlite stickies. Weeks later, on discovering the first copy, they were compared as what areas, aspects, dialog, etc were marked. No two were the same because consciousness changes, and we are each changing every moment - from our individual reactions, mind-chatter, thoughts and reflections. To say it differently: the self-integration of the wisdom in the dialog from God made relevant sense in at a different level. The audio versions of this book can aid in the process of understanding the concepts, and for some, it is easier than reading print.
